One of the most fulfilling part of what I do is the ability to design special pieces, for special organisations! Starting in 2018 I had some awesome opportunities too support some amasing organisations and donate to a additional fundraisers. I am truly looking forward to another year! If you have any requests for donations or special designs or deals for your organisation PLEASE reach out!
For everyone else PLEASE check out and consider volunteering or donating to these awesome charities!
Our slogan is "A Day of Giving Back" and is the core of our mission. When our brave service men and women return from overseas, as a nation, we have been failing to show these Heroes our appreciation. A shockingly high number of service members are returning with injuries and even the Soldiers without physical wounds are having a hard time adjusting back into the "real world". These "Heroes" have given so much of themselves for our freedom. Reaching out and offering a "Thank You" with a hand shake, is the very least we can do. At Take a Vet Fishing, we take it a step further. Not only do we show these Heroes our gratitude and shake their hand, we hand them a fishing rod and ease their minds back into civilization.........
Fishing Has No Boundaries provides recreational fishing opportunities for all anglers with disabilities regardless of their age, race, gender, or disability.
“Most of us think that going fishing is as easy as a walk down to a lake. . . But for over 56 million Americans with disabilities, it’s just not that simple.”
Fishing Has No Boundaries®, Inc. (FHNB) is a non-profit 501-C3 organization whose goal is to open up the great outdoors for people with disabilities through the world of fishing. FHNB has grown into a National Organization with 27 chapters in 13 states, enabling thousands of individuals with disabilities to participate fully in this spirit-lifting, morale-boosting, trouble-free recreational activity. Continue to look for additional announcements of new chapters in additional states as Fishing Has No Boundaries continues its mission of opening up new dreams for persons with disabilities that they might not otherwise experience – the fulfillment of dreams that you or I might just take for granted.
We believe through education, training, and the use of adaptive angling equipment, everyone is able to share in a dream come true.
We have worked with the original Hayward chapter, but would love to expand to others so please reach out!
